Jaden Roan

I was an afterschool teacher who helped assist K-5 grade students. We would walk them from their school to the afterschool facility. We would have homework and reading time and I would help students with their math, Chinese, and english homework. We also had free play, where we had a lot of different things to do, from sports to arts and crafts. We had a snack program, so I would help give out snacks. Then, it was just fun activities after that. I have created great bonds with the kids that I have met.

Managed time management effectively between academics, practice, competition, travel, and rest. Demonstrated sportsmanship on the field at all times. Exercised strong skills like leadership, teamwork, and problem solving. Were involved in meetings with coach staff and teammates to go over team objectives and goals.

I was involved in many community events. Some events were "Hoop for Peace" and "Scare Grove." San Francisco Park and Recreation hosts many different events. I also oversee recreation centers in the Bayview district. When they have open gym hours, I oversee the gym. Park and Recreation also. has this program called "Peace Parks," where they open the gym for evening hours, so young kids have a place to go. I also watch the gym and help out when needed during the evening hours.

I help my mom friends babysit their kids. The age does not matter. I feed them great food and snacks, and play and interact with them until their parents come home from work.

I coached Elementary school girls. They all came from different schools. But I coached out of the Joe Lee Recreation Center. I would have practices once a week, and games every Saturday. We also won the championship that year.

Played on Women's Basketball team for 2 years

Input data into the computer for the athletic director. Also, I helped tickets at the front tables for football and basketball games.
