Jaden Zuniga

I have participated in many fundraisers for my school. In the Student Council we would plan every year to have an angel tree shopping fundraiser around Christmas time. We would raise money to help kids at our school get what they wished for. we also worked many activities in our school such as concession stands, selling goodies at games or events. During the week of Halloween, we participated in ”Track or Treat”, which allowed the younger students to dress in costumes and Treat or Treat. Lastly before the school year I participated in a event called "stuff the bus" where we would stand outside of a walmart and hand out school supplies to people and they could but what ever they wanted to on the list to help out. We also help out in running some of the track meets for the junior high or high school.

In the National Honor Society we have done things like raise money during Thanksgiving so that we may give turkeys to families and some of the funds would go towards the school as well. In the NHS, we also participated in Angel Tree shopping and even wrapped the gifts for the children. Lastly we have done a blanket drive for a nursing home in Slaton, TX and went to deliver them to the people their for the winter.
