Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Hazard Identification: Conduct regular workplace self-assessments, spot checks, and annual safety walkthroughs to spot and mitigate unsafe conditions.
  • Training & Briefings: Coordinate and deliver initial and recurring safety education, including weekly safety briefings and new-arrival orientations.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure your unit meets all OSHA and Air Force safety standards.
  • Mishap Reporting: Act as the primary focal point for reporting minor mishaps, injuries, or hazardous situations to SAFEREP.
