Jaeden Sanchez is a passionate artist who continues to pave his own unique path as a performer, student, and private teacher. He was winner of the University of Redlands Presidents Honor and is currently a sophomore flute performance major at the University of Redlands Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Sara Andon. He is the principal flutist of the University of Redlands Wind Ensemble and Principal of the University Orchestra. Jaeden was a winner of the Greater Portland Flute Society’s 2024 Young Artist competition and has performed with the Oregon Mozart Players. He was also a special guest and featured performer at the University of Oregon’s flute studio recital.
Jaeden has participated in masterclasses with renowned flutists, including Demarre McGill and Jasmine Choi. He is particularly passionate about contemporary music and has performed in a masterclass and symposium for leading Composer Gabriela Lena Frank, performing her work Canto de Harawi “Amadeoso” for Flute, Clarinet and Piano. He also enjoys playing bass and alto flute in the U of R Flute Choir.
