Clinical Experience
I have experienced eight clinical shifts at HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ. During my time at HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital as a student, I was able to administer medications by PO, IM, SubQ, and transdermal according to the five rights, assist clients with perineal care, toileting, and bed baths while maintaining client dignity, assist in wound care to promote healing and decreased risk of infection, transfer clients from bed to bathroom following facility policies, one on one feeds with clients ensuring safety and adequate nutritional intake, perform glucose checks on diabetic patients to ensure proper diabetic care, and obtain clients vitals while performing head to toe and focused assessments to ensure an initial baseline is documented.
