- I work the Operation Santa volunteering experience every December for two 12-hour days! The first day is spent organizing and sorting toys into categories that are then added into piles to be sent off on Christmas Eve. On that day we dress up in festive gear and drive all around the area to give the toys to children who come from less fortunate families. It's a great experience and it's so much fun to do it every year.

- Most of my time in Girl Scouts I was a big team player, always doing my part when it came to the many volunteering projects we had. From Bronze Award to Silver Award, it was all about working together. However for the 100 hour service project Gold Award, I completed it all on my own and presented it to the board for certification. My Gold Award Project was on the Dewey Decimal System and I worked in many school libraries. From my time in Girl Scouts I also learned how to manage money and make sales while dealing with customers.
