- As the social media officer of Texas Black Lens, UT Austin's first and only Black filmmaker organization, I am in charge of posting events, recruiting members through online engagement, and aligning the design of our posts to achieve consistency and relay our values.
- The frequent posting and diligence also aided in the casting, crewing, and funding of our short film. In less than three days, we raised over a thousand dollars to fund our film.
- I also attend executive board meetings to assist with event planning, officer recruitment, and the overall success of the organization.
- In February of 2023, I took on the role of Director as we shot our first short film allowing our members to gain real on-set experience.
- Directing entailed leading casting, organizing shoot days alongside the assistant director, planning rehearsals with actors, overseeing shoot locations, and just leading the overall creative vision for the project.
