*Work alongside medical providers to meet the daily needs of the general hematology population of Aflac. Role consists of both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities include phone triage, working with case management and specialty pharmacies, managing patient flow through clinic and timely reporting of lab results and physician recommendations to patients and their families.

• Provided direct patient care including chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration to adult oncology patient population.
• Administered IV iron and performed therapeutic phlebotomy to adult hematology population.
• Functioned as a phone triage nurse (once/weekly) for the 3 adult hematologist/oncologists in the practice.

• Provided direct patient nursing care with the pediatric hematology and oncology patients of Aflac.
• Worked weekly as a staff nurse with the Aflac Day Hospital.
• Functioned weekly as a Charge Nurse for the inpatient hematology/oncology inpatient unit.

• Worked in the Aflac Infusion Room administering IV chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other therapeutic medications ordered through patient's treatment plan.
• Worked alongside the Sickle Cell Team providing both clinical and administrative responsibilities to this population of Aflac patients.

• Provided direct patient care as a staff RN with the Egleston PICU.

• Worked with the Children's Primary Care Clinic in Chamblee. Worked in direct patient care providing immunizations, blood work and assisting providers with clinic flow.

• Provided direct patient care for the general hematology/oncology floor on 1 East at Scottish Rite Hospital.

• Participated in a new nurse residency program on a general pediatric inpatient floor with Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
