I recently graduated from The University of South Florida with a strong aspiration to become a medical doctor. This dream has driven me to seek experiences that will deepen my understanding of patient care and the healthcare system. To gain hands-on experience and broaden my knowledge, I am now looking to become an EMT. I believe this role will provide invaluable insights into the realities of emergency medical services and help me develop the skills needed to best care for patients and uphold respect for them in every situation. My college education provided me with a solid foundation in the biological sciences and healthcare principles. Through rigorous coursework and practical lab experiences, I developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for a future medical doctor. From my time working as a sales associate at Lululemon, I learned the importance of clear communication and exceptional customer service. I developed strong interpersonal skills, which are crucial in interacting with patients and their families. My role required me to identify and address customer needs, a skill that translates well to patient care. Working at CVS Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician, I gained a deep understanding of medications and their effects, as well as the importance of accuracy and attention to detail in healthcare. Becoming an EMT is the next step in my journey towards becoming a medical doctor. I am eager to gain practical experience in emergency medical care, understand the complexities of patient needs in urgent situations, and further develop my skills in a real-world setting. I believe that this experience will be invaluable in shaping me into a compassionate and competent physician, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to all my future patients.
