Specific duties:

-contract tracking and billing for daily spending often exceeding $ 1,000,000

-coordinating fire response and cost tracking between multiple agencies

-performing rapid fire response and operational triage in the urban interface

-knowledge of fire response plans

-deep understanding of fire operations and logistics with first hand experience in ground and air operations, logistics and public relations

-performing interviews with news organizations, releasing updates via social media, writing public information updates for official government websites

-managing spreadsheets to track firefighter training schedules, equipment inventories, fleet management, and aviation expenses

-regularly coordinating with public vendors and contractors to meet future logistical needs as well as emergency needs
