Hope Squad Member

  • Responsible for watching out for students who may me struggling and act quickly to love and support them.
  • Learned empathy for others and that everyone struggles in different ways.
  • Help plan and participate in Kindness Weak.
  • Specifically, making posters, leading lunch activities and helping encourage students to participate in the event.
  • For example one of the activities we painted kindness rocks with positive messages that we left around the school as a reminder to be kind!
  • Learned to work with other organizations like, Student Council, Latinos in Action and the School Administration.

Young Mens Presidency Member

  • Participated in my Quorum Presidency for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
  • Planned activities, helped quorum fulfill duties, lead out in quorum presidency meetings, helped budget and plan activities, looked after and reached out to quorum members in need.
  • Worked closely with adult leadership while leading out with the members of the quorum.


Humanitarian Volunteer

  • Spent two weeks volunteering in the Dominican Republic humanitarian effort.
  • Took active role in the construction of two houses in the city Santa Domingo.
  • Learned new skills which help me accomplish my assigned tasks for the day.
  • Worked with members of the local community which created a relationship of kindness and friendship.
  • Demonstrated hard work, worked long hours, and the ability to problem solve.
  • Learned about other cultures, saw poverty first hand and developed the joy of serving.

Community Service Volunteer

  • Volunteered at Manila Elementary library. I read aloud to the kids, helped organize and re-shelve returned books.
  • Volunteering at local Snuck Farm in Pleasant Grove. I help weed, relocate plants and helped to make the premises more enjoyable to the eye for the future customers.
  • Helped run a Art camp for kids with autism at UVU's Melisa Nelsen's art center. learned to work with kids on the spectrum and how to help them feel included, seen and how to help them feel safe in new settings
