My name is Jake Tilson and I’m currently a post graduate who studied physical education at California State University Northridge. My classes consist of working with children while planning activities with my peers and professors. I have experience in occupational therapy as I assisted therapists with planning activities for children with intellectual disabilities. Furthermore, I’m a golf caddy at Hillcrest Country Club in Century City, California. Assisting members and maintaining professionalism is my number one priority when it comes to being a caddy, as engaging and talking to them on the course is as important as them achieving the score they want on the course. Providing assistance for those who need it no matter what age will always be a joy for me. I am a 4 handicap index on the course as I’ve been playing the game of golf for 5 years, along with a lifetime worth of soccer experience as I’ve played semi-professional for half a season in the UPSL in 2022. Sports therapy and recovery have always been a part of my life as I strive to make the best and most beneficial decisions for myself when it came to past injuries, which is a skill I’d love to spread to others who are in need.
