As a beginner engineering student with an entry leveling seeking to gain real-world experience in civil engineering. Applying the knowledge that I have learned and the skills that I know using it in the real world.
Would work with the engineers to see what they were doing and ensure the project or job site was going as planned. Taking measurements of streets, sidewalks, and curbs to get the square footage for the engineers. I worked with AutoCAD to look at the streets to get measurements and pricing it out. Working with another intern and we were doing GSI work. Plotting pots and describing the point and what it was. So that the engineer would see all the points for each town. We also did some surveying to find the elevation of the street curb.
Drive cars all day and whenever it needed to park or dropped off. Picked up or dropped off customers when their cars is in service. Another thing is detailing a car and the customers ask how they neede it to be detailed. Also detailed new cars for the showroom in a dealership.
Certified in cpr and lifeguard skills also in first aid. Guarding the pool so that no one is drowning. Teaching kids and older people how to swim.
Checking on the CNC maintenance making sure that it was very clean. Working inside and outside of the building to make sure that everything was looking good. Doing side jobs that involve doing more hands-on work.
Boxing all the ice cream into one box. Sorting out all the different ice cream into different groups. Packing the ice cream into small boxes then goes into a bigger package.
