Projects

Distillation: Identified murphree vapor stage efficiency as a function of reflux of a 10-tray, two-story distillation column. 

Heat Transfer: Operated an 18 L jacketed mixing tank, to determine tank configuration with the greatest heat transfer efficiency. 

Pipeline Design: Designed an 800-mile theoretical pipeline, to pump oil from Manistee, MI to Atlanta, GA at degrees Celsius with 10 counter-flow heat exchangers and pumping stations.

Batch Reaction: Designed catalyzed Hydrogen peroxide decomposition to identify the activation energy and order of the reaction. 

Pneumatic Conveying: Identified saltation and choking velocity of a 20ft piping system.
