- Inspect/lube/change bearings and chain driven equipment of all sizes.
- Operate and maintain 3 boilers on a 100 psi system, including chemical treatment, testing and corrections of water chemistry by use of amine solutions.
- Treat and maintain water tower chemistry, similarly to boiler water maintenance.
- Responsible for maintaining a working ammonia system for concentrator and pasteurizer cooling, along with 3 stand alone R-55 refrigerant systems for cooling glycol to maintain sub 35 degree temps in exterior holding tanks.
- Proficient in 240/480v motor wiring/trouble shooting. Along with gear box inspection/replacement on positive displacement pump set ups.
- Inspect/repair/maintain smooth running operations of various centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, from varying brand such as Ampco, Fristam, Bell & Gosset, SPX, Watson Marlow, Waukesha, Tesla, Sine, and Moyno.
- Trained in yaskawa g500 vfd operations and programming. Completed levels one and two training through Erie tech/Pervus industries training program. Also able to operate/program/trouble shoot other vfd makes and models, including but not limited to, ABB, Allen Bradley, and Iron Horse.
- “Train the trainer” certified to train others on forklift operation. Built and presented a training PowerPoint, post-class quiz and hands on training course.
- Have also stepped into other roles in production when we have been short handed, which includes press building supervisor, filter press operator, pasteurizer operations, tank cleaning and filling.
- Can test for chlorine and other cleaning product concentrations in water with the use of reagent/indicator test kits.
- Stainless steel food grade purge welding, along with the structures needed to suspend the food grade tubing.
- During grape season operations, I transfer to night shift where I am the sole maintenance tech, and am responsible for the entire plant to maintain production with as little downtime as possible, from dumping of the fruit, til it reaches its holding tank.
