Sheet metal foreman/ installer
28 years invested in the trade, worked non union 23 years for 3 company's 16 yrs w/ merit mechanical, i ran work for 10 of those yrs. mostly apartment buildings, mall work, ext. i detailed, and dealt with various part venders. was responsible for 3 to 5 guys, and handled time cards and daily logs.
2 yrs w/ seattle mechanical, was offered a few bucks more and the opportunity to run 2 16 screen regal cinema's, wanted to get experience running bigger work. detailed and ordered material . Job required with the schedule given 12 guys, working 10 hr days for 6 months. learned a lot from that experience. work got slow after the theaters so took a job with a hood company called interstate industries. ran, detailed, ordered, attended sub meetings, and owner meetings. this was the last job i ran or worked non union. was actually salted on that job by william persly. lol had two residential installers with maybe a yrs experience. He was my best installer so io didn't call him out.
In 2018 I called scott the requiter, that ive been incontact with for a while and told him how frustrated i was with the non union and he said go to the hall and ive been working in the union as an installer ever since.
I am interested in working ! , as an installer, lead installer, foreman, or all above.
