  • Have overseen both aspects of the department. As the Fill Off Lead oversaw the production schedule to ensure all batches requirements were meet. Worked with Labeling to ensure all products were labeled and transferred to the Department for fill off access. Worked closely with management to ensure that liters and backlog was meet daily. In charge of all training to new employees and demonstrating the importance of following Safety protocols. Actively worked with Batch Making Leaders to ensure all transfers and tanks were cleaned to increase production. Once the Batch making lead moved on, I took over that aspect as well for both departments. In charge of Scheduling Batches to reflect Production goals and to attack OTIF (On Time and In Full) and Backlog. When I took over the department, I was able to work the Backlog down In Lacquer and Stain, while being shorthanded. I was able to use my resources to increase batches to cover multiple orders and use intermediates to Sheen down to cover other batches. Over saw a Cross-training program to use Batch Makers, And Filling Operators in various positions. Through the hard work Of the Team and Myself we were able to decrease the backlog and Follow the Live schedule. In Stain I was able to focus my resources on catching the fillers and batches up to reflect the QC time, will providing support to the fill off area that was understaffed and without the proper equipment.
