
Expertise in developing and administering section budget, evaluating and motivating personnel and establishing goals and objectives for the Logistics section.
Manage a staff of 31 personnel including five supervisors
Responsible for a multimillion dollar budget, purchasing equipment, medical supply inventory, uniforms and miscellaneous supplies for the EMS warehouse, EMS vehicles and EMS fixed facilities.
Coordinate with the county Fleet Dept. for the maintenance and repair of 86 EMS vehicles
Coordinate with the county Facilities Dept. for the maintenance and repair of 12 EMS fixed facilities

Department OSHA Designated Infection Control Officer
Responsible for identifying and mitigating workplace hazards for the EMS Department personnel
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the department infection control protocols
Investigation of workplace accidents and injuries
Coordinate with the county Safety Department to ensure Workers Compensation medical follow up and documentation was completed
Department FMLA liason with the county HR Department ensuring FMLA documentation and compliance withing the department
Management of four District Chiefs and approximately 30 Operations section personnel
Responsible for the operational readiness EMS during the assigned shift
Responsible for planning for large planned events, natural disasters, and civil disturbance
Responsible for ensuring the Deputy Chief of Operations was informed of all relevant information
Responsible for scheduling, disciplinary action, remediation and public complaints regarding assigned personnel
