James Cotton

Dawson Springs

Summary

I have a strong background in hands-on learning, leadership, and competitive events. I attended Madisonville Community College (MCC), where I took HVAC classes and gained practical technical skills. I also worked at camp at MCC, handling maintenance and janitorial duties like mowing and helping during meals.

I’ve been active in 4-H, serving on the Kentucky State Shooting Sports Teen Ambassador Board and the 4-H Teen Camp Council. I was also honored with the Hopkins County Storm Choice Award. Through FFA, I competed at the national level in land judging.

In shooting sports, I placed 2nd at the Trigg County Trap Shoot and 3rd at the McLean County Trap Shoot, showing my dedication and consistency.
