  • I'm operating a DMP 3000 to remove waste metals in the manufacturing process of semiconductor chips and wafers
  • I take care of a commercial sized RO system and the waste from the electroplating process
  • Executed installation processes to ensure proper setup and functionality of systems.

  • Company Overview: Harvest Power was a Energy From Waste facility located on Disney property, their TWAS was piped directly into our mix tank
  • Our feed stock consisted of FOG and food waste from Disney, Seaworld, and surrounding hotel and resorts
  • It was processed directly into the mix tank as well
  • The digesters convert the waste to methane which is used to power two Caterpillar generators rated at 1.6MW each
  • The sludge was processed through a centrifuge and then dried into a high nitrogen fertilizer that was used for orange groves and at other fertilizer facilities
  • Unfortunately, the company couldn't sustain profitability through the pandemic and ceased operations in August 2021
  • Harvest Power was an Energy from Waste facility located on Disney property, their TWAS was piped directly into our mix tank

  • I operated a pre-treatment waste system for Gilbarco Veeder-Root to remain in permit to the City of Greensboro
  • Zinc and copper were the main contaminants, and they were eliminated by pH adjustment, coagulation/flocculation and a clarifier, sampling was done every hour
  • The parts line continued into an E Coat bath and then into a powder booth or into the oven and that's where our responsibility ended
  • My position was under the maintenance dept
  • That meant all our PM's fell upon us to clean 6 baths, add chemicals, dump baths and put fresh ones online for new week
  • Other duties include heat exchanger cleaning, cleaning nozzles, oven maintenance, chain maintenance, cleaning drip trays, keeping a daily check on company waste tank and doing the perimeter sampling
  • Worked closely with supervisors to address any issues related to job orders or project specifications, ensuring clear communication throughout the production process.
  • Maintained clean work environment by regularly cleaning and inspecting equipment, preventing potential contamination issues.

  • Operated environmental monitoring equipment to gather accurate data on-site conditions.
  • For over 50 years some 500,000 gallons of kerosene from a former bulk fuel terminal had soaked into the water table
  • The speed up became critical once the plume started moving past a barrier wall adjacent to GSO runways
  • The ground water system removed free phase product with an oil/water separator, air stripping, then sand/garnet filtration, carbon vessels, basket filters, and a heat exchanger to bring the temperature below 105 then discharged into the city sewer system within permit parameters
  • I worked closely with the project manager and engineers during the construction phase, initial start-up, and the completion
  • Collected soil and water samples for analysis to identify contamination levels.
  • Prepared summary reports for management with collected data from various environmental assessments.
  • Participated in regular safety meetings to promote a culture of environmental stewardship and workplace safety within the organization.
  • Worked with site to maintain compliance with applicable environment regulations.
  • Maintained accurate records of all environmental activities, facilitating streamlined reporting processes and regulatory compliance documentation.
