I supervised 10 Deputies daily and have a Sergeant that assists me with supervision. Oversaw law enforcement actions across unincorporated areas of Randolph County, encompassing over 800 square miles. Executed zone patrol assignments, checked patrol reports, and monitored law enforcement calls and actions. Additionally, I am in charge of keeping up with all statistical data involving my team. Coordinated court scheduling, conducted yearly evaluations, and fostered a proactive training philosophy for officer development and equipment maintenance. I oversee professional law enforcement duties provided to the public and ensure best practice procedures are consistently followed. I believe in an empowerment supervisory philosophy where I ensure my subordinates are properly trained to do their duties and have a clear understanding of the expectations of the Sheriff's Office and myself of what is expected of each of them to ensure a consistent service to the public and keep employee morale high.
- Before being transferred to the Patrol Division, I served as the Lieutenant in the Bailiff division from September 2020 until September 2021 where I supervised 20 employees daily. I scheduled, evaluated, and coordinated training for 22 deputies within the division. Before promotion to Lieutenant, I was assigned to the Patrol division where I proactively patrolled Randolph County for criminal behavior and criminal activity. As a Patrol Officer, I regularly responded to emergency situations and investigated misdemeanor and felony crimes. I attend court and testified in all required procedures in the prosecution of criminal charges I have filed. I have been a field training officer since 2004 with the Highway Patrol. As a Bailiff, I manage daily paperwork for court dockets and inmate transfers for daily court sessions.
