CW Resources

  • This job, which is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, hires people with developmental disabilities to develop job skills. I left my position at Skyline Chili to work for this company. I am currently a janitor over there working on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Part of my job is working with a group and doing daily tasks such as cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, as well as mopping and vacuuming all while doing it in a professional manner. I was full time at first, but I transitioned to part-time after I got another part-time job during the day.

Skyline Chili

  • I started working there from the summer of 2019 through the summer of 2020 at the Beavercreek location three to four days a week. Normally, I would work mornings and shred and block cheese before the place opens. But after the summer term at Wright State ended, I added dishwashing and taking out trash to my regular tasks and started working from early in the morning to the middle of the afternoon.

One Dollar Book Swap
05.2016 - 04.2017
  • I worked there twice a week. I cleaned up bathrooms and the break room, as well as sweeping the entire book area as well. I got laid off in April of 2017 because of the company’s budget issues.

Vendor

MONCO Enterprises
08.2015 - 04.2016
  • I worked there as a vendor three days a week as part of a six-month assessment through Montgomery County. I go to different locations in the Miami Valley to fill up snack and soda machines. I was supposed to stop working there in March, but I kept going until they found my replacement.

Day Porter

  • I worked there as a day porter as part of a series of monthly assessments through the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services. About Myself

  • I’m a diehard sports fan with a lot of knowledge. For the fourth straight season, I have attended every Dayton Dragons home game in the calendar year and have not missed a single game since 2016. Almost every time that I attend games, I like to write stories about them so I can email them to people and post it on Facebook so they can read it, too. It’s an absolute joy for a man like myself to share my knowledge of sports with others while making it fun.
  • Even though I have a speech impediment, I still know how to communicate well with the people I’m surrounded by because I am a people person. I also enjoy putting smiles on everybody’s faces. I can also sing, dance, and draw. I will also respectfully ask about something if I don’t understand it.
