I was a high school and colligate wrestler obtaining varsity status at both levels. This has taught me how to work with a team and be coachable. Through years of wrestling I have also learned to be a leader as team captain in high school and as a senior of a college team with a large amount of incoming freshmen. Being a colligate athlete has also taught me work ethic and time management while balancing classes, athletics, social life and work. My experience as youth specialist has taught me how to use critical thinking in order to defuse stressful and potentially dangerous situations while supervising up to ten troubled youth at any given time. As a Shift Leader for Cranbrook Security and Safety, I have experience in managing a small team, delegating tasks, and experience in responding to emergency situations.
