  • Managed the CMEO program, supervised 45 CMEO specialists across 109 commands for over 29,000 military and civilian personnel. Provided cultural analysis to senior leadership and ensured 100% execution of DoD and Navy applications, training requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Military lead liaison between NAVAIR, OPNAV, MEO, JAG and EEO offices and subordinate commands and their Sailors. Ensuring a streamlined process for all complaint intakes from reporting to resolution.
  • Conducted personal on-site EO program reviews ensuring all commands are up-to-date and are in full compliance with Navy and DoD standard requirements.
  • Conducted cultural analysis and provided suggestions for improvement and best practice strategies, improving the command’s effectiveness and unit cohesion throughout the NAVAIR enterprise.

  • Principle EO advisor to the Battle Group Commander for NIMITZ and her squadrons. Managed over 30 military Command Managed Equal Opportunity Program Managers across the Battle Group of 9000 Sailors. Primary liaison between OPNAV, Commander, JAG, NCIS and service members. Provided diverse counseling and accurate complaint management for all active duty Sailors.
  • Developed and implemented the plan which incorporated the Human Factors Council and Cultural Champion Network initiative throughout the Battle Group in both California and Washington State.
  • Coordinated and administered the command climate assessment, providing detailed areas of concerns and statistics with solutions on redirecting the culture to a more productive environment using existing command programs that model progress that affect Sailor development.
  • Assisted the Commanders and their Squadrons in cultural weaknesses, providing sage guidance on the transition to the new Human Factors Council and Cultural Champions initiative on the updated Equal Opportunity practices and command assessment pathways.
  • Created an informal training program for numerous topics including personal standards, qualification guidance and military life transition to 105 Sailor participants using manuals, personal mentoring and Senior Enlisted Leader counseling sessions enhancing their personal development and increasing retention.
  • Developed and implemented manning and manpower changes to CMEO organizational structure in all 21 departments within the Battle Group enabling the enterprise to more effectively address issues and enhance organizational cohesiveness training and mentorship onboard.

  • Counseled and assisted Sailors on issues and concerns leading to informal resolution methods.
  • Compiled, organized and managed all formal/informal complaints to resolution while coordinating additional resources to aid with strengthening mental and physical health during process completion.
  • Provided training on policy updates and program changes to existing and newly reporting crewmembers while broadening the awareness of the EO capabilities and marketability. Command culture and climate dramatically improved and mission effectiveness as a military unit increased significantly and continues to this day.
