My name is James “Mannie” Hammond. I am currently a Senior at the University of Oklahoma and will graduate in Fall of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in math. Prior to transferring to the University of Oklahoma in fall 2020, I attended Oklahoma Baptist University. While at OBU, I was listed on the Athletic Honor Roll. I have also been listed on the OU Dean's Honor Roll in 2021 and 2023. Throughout my life I have had an interest in and talent for technology. As a computer science major, I have learned a great deal of information about programming, computer hardware and software. I have built a dozen or more computers for family, friends, and my own personal enjoyment. I appreciate the complexity and challenge that comes with technology. This has led me to joining the OU IT team where I currently work as a IT Service Specialist. I also have a passion for physical fitness and health which I have fulfilled while working at a local gym as my second job. Beyond technology, I have been a member of the OBU Varsity Football team and the OU Varsity Esports team. I am a hard worker, quick learner, and a fun person.
