Greet passengers, briefly explain different options for the trip and plan trip that best meets the customers expectations and desires. Explain and inform passengers of land masses, different bodies of water and all wildlife encountered on the trip. Ensure that passengers are safe and comfortable during trip.
* Initiate, build and establish International Traffic Department policies, procedures, job description, duties and responsibilities.
* Generate Letter of Credit from fully executed Sales Conformation and Purchase Conformation.
* Review Letter of Credit for correctness when received from bank.
* Review seller shipping documents for discrepancies with Letter of Credit.
* Send full set of documents to Customs House Broker for submission to U.S. Customs and Food and Drug Administration.
* Maintain U.S. Customs and Food and Drug Administration status of shipment.
* Track shipment from port of departure to port of entry.
* Arrange inland drayage to point of destination, depending on status of shipment.
* Compare receiving report with Letter of Credit, identify any discrepancies and report to Purchasing and Sales Departments.
* Arrange sampling and laboratory tests as required by the Food and Drug Administration.
* Present receiving report, with discrepancies and adjustments, to Accounting Department for invoicing.
* Maintain inventory of all product in-transit, in outside and in-house cold storage, both foreign and domestic.
* Review and authorize payment of all costs incurred with each shipment.
* Maintain file for each shipment, both manually and on computer program.
* Schedule unloading of all product, fresh and frozen, from boats and trucks.
* Oversee proper handling and quality control of all product.
* Ensure proper inventory rotation.
* Maintain fresh and frozen product inventories.
* Process and supervise all shipping and receiving.
