Aheed was registered with a mandate to improve the sexual and reproductive health status of young people and protection of children against abuse.

We focused on reducing the reproductive health risk which affects vulnerable young people and the most at risk of the population groups.

Implementing HIV AIDS child rights Family planning STDs and adolescents reproductive health programs in the districts of Kampala kamuli jinja and bujili targeting children and young people in and out of school in the urban slums and rural areas

We support vulnerable girls who are currently trapped in child sex work by supporting them to safely withdraw resume school or engage them in healthier alternatives like vocational skills, we give small loans to buy capital equipments like if someone has completed a tailoring course she can qualify for a sewing machine

Conduct sex education in schools and communities by training peer educators and trainers of trainers

Provide HIV AIDS counseling and for those who test positive we enroll them on the AIDS treatment therapy

Provide family planning services and antenatal clinics for expecting mothers

Provide safe male circumcision as a way of reducing the spread of HIV AIDS and cervical cancer.
