As procurement specialist and assistant manager to a brand new feedmill in the Texas Panhandle, this was a great 10 year period of personal and professional career growth and opportunity. At Texas Farm, the specifics of my position included: All feed ingredient procurement for 250,000 head of animals, commodity logistics, in-house employee management, daily receivings, accounts payable, annual budgeting, P&L statements, occasional management of employees at outside facilities within the company.

  • Implemented marketing strategies which resulted in growth of customer base. Example, building the program to buy milo directly from the producer at the field.
  • Initiated two key partnerships. Texas Farm purchase of Batman Grain Elevator and it was set up to amplify ongoing and growth projects.
  • Developed new process for employee evaluation, which resulted in marked performance improvements.
  • Worked directly with the President and the CEO of Texas Farm, as well as, the owners at Nippon Meat in Japan
