Managing Attorney Consultant for BNY, a global systemically important financial institution, fully dedicated to the Commercial Law Group- Legal Technology. Leadership, interactive, organizational and strategic planning skills with specific financial industry
experience, including with laws related to banking regulations. General Project Management, including being the primary legal stakeholder in creation, negotiation, and processing of BNY’s Preferred Vendor catalog. Other enterprise-wide financial regulatory projects include Master Services Agreement Remediation and EU Digital Operational Resilience Act. Experience includes
providing direct input and guidance as to strategic and complex contracting, requiring both comprehensive legal and organizational knowledge to advance risk and business-oriented resolutions.

Business as usual management, including both involvement in drafting and continuing negotiating of BNY General Terms and Conditions and service specific supplements.

Negotiation lead for all areas of commercial contracting, including but not limited to outsourcing, professional services, SaaS, and software license and maintenance.

Other notable roles include creating guidance/checklists for consistency in negotiations, working with the contract management teams for alignment of contract families, and coordinating with all internal stakeholders to consistently review and develop standard contracts.

Management of 15+ people, both locally and abroad, and both internal and external counsel (3+ firms), including advising on central BNY negotiation positions and ensuring efficiency and quality of process.

Negotiation Manager for cross-department communications, including providing direction to over 25 internal lines of business, Risk, Compliance, Finance,
Governance, Information Security, Privacy, Enterprise Sourcing, and other legal departments (privacy, employment, etc.).

Relationship Management with third-party vendors, including building and maintaining relationships with new and historic vendors.
Achievements include being the first person to secure a wide sweeping amendment with a historically difficult vendor, reducing the overall risk to BNY. Other notable areas include: inventing the Weighted Contractual Risk Score to properly assess risk in contracts dependent upon where contractual gaps exist; training of Artificial Intelligence to utilize technology for assistance in legal review; and Market Data management, including creation of specific amendments and contract checklists for the most difficult of vendors.
