  • Manage small animal surgical space. Including housing, protocols, pre- and post-op care, controlled drugs, controlled drug records, data entry, scheduling, training, etc
  • Manage large animal surgery. Including housing, protocols, pre- and post-op care, controlled drugs, controlled drug records, data entry, scheduling, training, etc
  • Maintain and order inventory in small and large animal surgery labs.
  • Manage yearly budget for SR Light Core.
  • Manage entire S.R. Light Core Facility spaces. This consist of eight rooms dedicated to the Core.
  • Interview, hire and train S.R. Light Staff.

  • Surgical Assist with large animal surgical models
  • Assist with maintaining pre-op, surgery, & post-op rooms, gas EtO sterilize, and steam sterilize surgical packs/items
  • Review all IACUC protocols prior to procedures performed in facilities.
  • Assist investigators with writing animal protocols for successful submissions to IACUC.
  • Develop/Coordinate anesthesia, surgery, and study records according to protocol.
  • Conduct experiments, collect and enter data for multiple investigators as needed.
  • Skilled in anesthesia and surgical monitoring for dogs, cats, pigs, goats, ferrets, mice, rats, rabbits and sheep
