The Assistance League of Flintridge is a nonprofit charitable organization that provides service to the community through philanthropic programs. Funding for these programs comes from the sale of items from our thrift store. I worked in and at times managed the store, greeting customers, processing sales, pricing donations and organizing displays. I also coordinated several community service sales events with the help of a committee of 15 volunteers.

• Hired and trained new cast members, demonstrating best methods for serving our resort guests.
• Took notes on long-term and return customers in order to deliver personalized customer treatment and service.
• Coordinated arrivals and departures of VIPs.
• Developed and implemented strategies to improve guest experiences and build loyalty.
• Kept up to date on hotel and local events, restaurant menu, occupancies, staff updates and VIP guests.
• Created and delivered effective training materials and courses.
