My academic career has inspired interest and enthusiasm towards heart health, with a specific desire to become a non-invasive cardiovascular technologist. Volunteer opportunities have strengthened this desire and provided valuable experience in caring about and helping others. Experience as an office assistant has added proficiency with being able to adapt to a dynamic work environment. My focus on organizational ability with a collaborative mindset support important teamwork coordination and goal-driven achievements.

Research Assistant for the Cardiovascular Disease in Young Adults Study, August 2025 - Present.
Working under the direction of Angela Liese, Ph.D, MPH in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at University of South Carolina collecting data on subclinical cardiovascular disease. Training Includes: Biosafety Level 2 for Labs, GCP Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research, Human Research, and Social & Behavioral Researchers
