During summer 2023, I was accepted as volunteer to become CIT (counselor-in-training) for Camp Dixie. Several days of training were provided where I completed assignments, participated in leadership development, teamwork activities and how to provide spiritual mentoring to youth in a Christian environment. As a CIT, some of my responsibilities included

• Enhanced camp guidance to individual campers in regard to camp life and personal situations they may be facing;
• Developed communication and engaged with the team of counselors and fellow CITs - assisting when needed for the well-being of the campers.
• Recognized and took advantage of "teachable moments" and continually set a positive example for all campers.
• Reinforced camp counselors' expectation for high quality engagement for all activities, routines and schedules
• Improved organizational efficiency by streamlining volunteer onboarding processes.
• Mentored new camper, fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment.
• Strengthened partnerships between the community of CIT's to enhance collaboration opportunities.
• Actively participated in all trainings, staff meetings and program development strategies

• Improved child safety by monitoring play areas and consistently enforcing safety rules.
• Implemented consistent routines for naptime, bedtime, meal preparation and other daily tasks to create stability within the home environment for the children in my care.
• Promoted healthy habits by preparing healthy snacks for children daily.
• Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children.
• Planned fun outings and educational activities to keep children entertained.

• Organized cluttered spaces for improved functionality and aesthetics in clients'' homes.
• Safeguarded clients'' property by adhering to strict confidentiality and privacy policies during cleaning sessions.
• Preserved home cleanliness standards by performing regular maintenance tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Demonstrated versatility by performing various household chores such as laundry, dishwashing, and pet care upon request.
• Assisted with organizing closets, cabinets and drawers to declutter homes and maximize client's storage space.
