Jana Gita Kovačević

I have been practicing with the OK OLIMPIK senior team since September 2021, and I made my debut in the official championship match on February 19th 2022 when I was 15 years old. Since then I have been a permanent member of the roster of the first senior team OK OLIMPIK , and in parallel with that I also played for OK OLIMPIK II and for all younger categories.

From 2021 until today, counting all the volleyball school matches, playing for the senior championship and cup matches for my club, and the selection of the City of Zagreb, I have played between 60 and 70 games a year on average.
From then until today, counting only the 3 years of playing for the 1st senior team of OK OLIMPIK in the 1st Croatian league, I played 51 official senior championship matches and 12 matches of the Croatian Cup.

2023/2024
Senior achievements with OK OLIMPIK are:
1st place Senior Women's Cup - North Region Cup October 2023.
3rd place 1. Croatian Senior Women's Volleyball League - season 2023/2024. May 2024.

In the 10 years of my volleyball career, I went through all OK OLIMPIK selections.
In those 10 years, I was lucky to be part of the golden generation of this club, and we were always at the top and all that time we were fighting for one of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd places.
The results we achieved in the younger categories were often significantly better than the results achieved by our senior players playing for the OK OLIMPIK Zagreb senior team at that time. In addition, during that period as a member of the Zagreb selection team, I won several medals for that selection as well. In addition to indoor volleyball, I played beach volleyball tournaments during the summer months and two years in a row in junior cadet categories I was the best in the City of Zagreb with different partners and won first place in the overall category both years.

Looking over the years, I am extremely proud of all the achievements:
