• Taught 8 weekly classes of 20 women to de-stigmatize mental illness, to provide information about genetic influence on mental illness prevalence in families, and exercises/resources to mitigate effects of mental illness on drug and alcohol abuse

• Performed 1,000+ textbook rental returns, purchases, and shipments at the end of Spring semester and beginning of Summer semester
• Performed inventory and distribution of textbooks for classes

Gut microbe nutritional demands and optimal conditions for biofilm formation

• Used the autoclave to sterilize materials
• Mixed agar and nutrient broths
• Grew and inoculated new bacteria colonies from stock
• Gram-stained bacterial colonies and observed under light microscope
• Transferred bacteria to Scanning Electron Microscope stubs for imaging
