Driven by a passion for enhancing the life for special needs individuals, I leveraged my patience, understanding, and CPR certification at Gt Independence to work with clients. My background in customer service and cash handling, combined with an idea for relationship building, has consistently elevated client satisfaction and operational efficiency. I work well with students, and have been in the Best Buddies program for 5 years. Not only do I care for a female with special needs, but I also include her friends and take them to different events such as best buddies events, bowling, out to eat, shopping, etc. I provide exemplary service to individuals in residential care environments with utmost respect and consideration. Supportive care professional, monitoring client behaviors and encouraging participation in healthy activities as noted within care plan. Deliberate role model, demonstrating healthy behavior for daily living and social interactions. I also took child development and parenting in high school and know how to plan lessons and tasks. I am a hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure entry-level tsa position.
My freshmen year of high school to my junior year I took child development. Taking a child development class has greatly enhanced my understanding of the various stages of growth and the factors that influence a child's development. It has provided me with valuable insights into effective communication strategies, behavioral expectations, and appropriate interventions, all of which have helped me better support and engage with children in both educational and caregiving settings. It has also improved my planning skills and organizational skills. Additionally, the class has equipped me with practical skills for creating supportive learning environments and activities that align with individual developmental needs. I've learned how to recognize early signs of developmental delays and the importance of fostering positive, nurturing relationships. This knowledge has made me more confident and effective in working with children, allowing me to contribute more meaningfully to their growth and well-being. Overall, it has deepened my passion for supporting children's development and prepared me to make a positive impact in their lives.
I have been in best buddies since my freshmen year of high school. My father teaches special education at the high school I graduated from so I spent my free time in his classroom with his students. I have grown a special bond with each of them and still keep in touch with some. I also am a caregiver for one of the special needs students I graduated with. I like to spend my time taking them to different places and doing fun activities as well as help them work on their social skills. Like, ordering on their own at fast food places, or paying for their items on their own. Being a part of best buddies has helped me include these students and connect with them, which means a lot to me. They are not only people I care for, but they are my friends.
