As the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, I am responsible for the organization’s overall marketing and communications, and specifically for the coordination of destination marketing for the benefit of Santa Rosa tourism and the hospitality industry. I provide coordination of the organization’s event promotion, media and public relations, and marketing-related customer relationship and engagement activities.
I oversee a team of six, across both organizations, the Chamber and the Destination Marketing Organization (DMO). I am responsible for overseeing sales / group leads to hospitality / hotel partners and facilitate press trips.
Mendocino College is a community college district in Northern California offering over 90 degrees and certificates at three locations and online. Responsible for serving as the principal community contact for all college matters involving the press and media. Report directly to the Superintendent/President, oversee and coordinate the promotion of enrollments, college-wide projects including athletics, classes, performing arts events, special events, community programs, and other activities. Provide oversight regarding website content management. Develop and oversee the district marketing department budget and grant. Responsible for all crisis communications.
