I am current nursing student at Valencia College, positive, confident, very friendly and reliable individual that offers excellent communication and leadership skills along with the ability to operate in on-going environments.
Background History: I currently attend college to become a NP. More generally, a pediatrics nurse. I currently work at a daycare to gain more experience with children and being able to assist parents through management. I have a lot of experience with many people when it comes down to showing genuine care. My mother also used to be a nurse as she was going to school to become an NP herself. Unfortunately, North Shore Hospital (Long Island, NY) permanently disabled her with the diagnosis of RSD, due to an incorrect use of an epipen while under their care.
Due to my mother being disabled and not being able to carry on her goals, I found love in the medical field and have chosen to carry it on for her. Nurses have shown me hands on experiences in a patient admission room, along with documenting information throughout the years of my mom being disabled.
As an add on, due to my mother constantly being in and out of the Hospital, I gained a lot of experience shadowing doctors and nurses over the years. More so nurses. I've gained a lot of admiration for the medical field and cannot wait to learn more!
