  • Assesses the patient’s compliance with the therapeutic regimen and discusses with the medical and nursing staffs of any areas of non-compliance to determine possible change in treatment plan.
  • In-service patient, family and staff in pulmonary hygiene and the use of the respiratory equipment to be used by the patient when appropriate.
  • Communicates information on a regular basis to the nurse who is responsible for and coordinates with patient care.
  • Provides timely documentation including, but not limited to; assessments, plans, goals, care, summary reports and related data.
