Wrote, edited news announcements for internal communications using print, TV and intranet for site with 5,000 employees. Wrote technical and feature articles for company newsletters that were distributed worldwide. Videotaped, photographed company events, created websites as needed.

Wrote business stories for this seven-day, mid-morning newspaper, circulation about 18,000. Also covered general assignment, education, city council and features when needed. Wrote award-winning series on growth of gangs in Council Bluffs.

Covered cops/courts, county government and education beats for this five-day newspaper, circulation about 4,000. Assisted with photography, copy editing, designing, layout of paper.

General assignment reporter for this weekly newspaper. Also wrote features for the Okobojian, a weekly newspaper published in the summer for tourists. Assisted with layout, copy editing and photography.
