• Performed all necessary tasks of procuring blood from a patient, accessioning and delivering to lab.
• Worked on all three shifts both in-house and out-patient lab areas.

• Worked as research technician with animals creating new techniques for in-vitro fertilization.

• Analyzing all the wastewater, dirt, oil, tobacco water, acids, hazardous materials, and environmental samples at the facility to make the products non-hazardous and released into the sewers.
• Conducted facility tours both at the plant and the other larger facility.
• Created procedures for the hazardous samples to make them non-hazardous and sent out reports to government facilities.

ABO/Rh testing, component creation (platelets, red packed cells, plasma),freezing of bloods for future use,, washing of blood to send to other facilities, antibody screening, paternity testing, pooling of plasma, manually tested for ABO/Rh

• Used autoanalyzer for testing.
• Sendout area sending out bloods to hospitals.
• Cleaned and changed equipment tubing on a daily/weekly basis.
