Summary

As a child I've always enjoyed cars and trucks and dreamed of working at Ford Motor Company. As an adult I've become an automotive enthusiast. I also enjoyed starting projects and completing them. Over the years I've work for different companies, but my goal was still the same, to be successful and produce quality. I have an attention to detail, strive for quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. I've always made sure when the job was completed, it was done right the first time and with the best quality possible. To me, quality is very important as it sets the standard of what people expect and it's a necessary requirement to be successful. While at Crayola, I created a tool set for myself when I ran labeling machines to ensure less down time and manage small repairs before needing a mechanic. As a production tech at Mack Trucks, I made various little changes to processes I was performing, completing the task faster without sacrificing quality and implementing Lean Manufacturing without knowing it. I applied the same techniques once I transitioned to a Quality Tech at Mack Trucks. Now as Quality Technician Team Lead at Mack Trucks, I have pushed even harder. Created a new Quality Gate, Kaizen for improving processes; for example, redoing the process for production to request PQRs, Gate standardization, traceability in FTT to help with problem solving, and other major Kaizen that I am currently working on. I am determined to get results; data driven and work cross functional with other departments. I am also proud to be certified in ISO 9001:2015 QMS, a testament to my commitment to adhering to international quality standards. As a team leader, I make sure my team is set up for success. I create SOPs and created a training program to ensure they can do the job right. I am only as good as my team, so if my team fails it means I fail. Currently I have a team of 6 techs that I monitor, support, coach, train and assist. I strongly enjoy data and quality which is why in January of 2026 I started to earn my associate's degree in computer science. I hope with this and the skills I've acquired over the years, I will continue to garner great success regardless of whom I am employed with. My drive for continuous learning and growth keeps me motivated as I work towards excellence in every aspect of my career. Whether I'm on the shop floor or analyzing data, my goal is to deliver exceptional results and make a meaningful impact in the automotive industry.
