As a medical biller i was in charge of billing medical insurance company's for whenever a provider/ nurse sees a patient. this consist of maintaining a weekly schedule to stay organized and keep track of all patients for two agency's which can range from 600 to 700 patients. aside from billing the insurances help gather information from physicians to prepare patients for any services they may need, i help with payroll, checking for patient eligibility, patient chart maintenance, working side by side with the company accountant, and most importantly reconciliations making sure the company gets payed for all claims rightfully billed.
