Conduct weekly scheduled and unscheduled home visits to directly observe, monitor, and assess child safety for children at risk of abuse or neglect. Accept and respond to referrals from ODHS to initiate contact with family immediately following ROI sharing. Address and report any disclosure or observation of abuse or child safety concerns. Provide safety services such as, but not limited to, stabilization of child's home environment, family's access to basic needs, parenting assistance, safe housing, and access to emergency medical and mental health services. Confirm and monitor conditions that are outlined by the Caseworker in the safety plan. Maintain frequent and effective communication with ODHS, Safety Service providers, and all other community partners and agencies. Utilize existing protective capacities of caregivers to improve the diminished capacities that led to children being unsafe. Continually help families identify strengths, weaknesses, and needs to develop achievable goal planning. Attend routine meetings with community partners to discuss best practices for working with clients and exchange resource information. Help parents to foster positive relationships with their children and effective communication with their Caseworker. Advocate for families while upholding Safety Plans and honoring all people involved by facilitating communication between families and agencies for effective case management. Manage an average monthly caseload of 10 to 15 families. Maintain accurate records of all assessments, progress notes, service plans and other documents related to client services. Review the quality of ISRS to target areas of improvement and ensure contract requirements are being met while attending various training opportunities.
