As a Hull Technician in the Navy, I was in charge of all plumbing onboard the ship. Welding, brazing, oxyacetylene torch cutting, fabrication, and pipe fitting were the most crucial parts of this job. Firefighting and damage control was another major part of this job. teaching, training, and coordinating drills as part of the training team and fire marshal were essential to the ships readiness for any casualty to include fire, flooding, and toxic gas casualties.
