I/E QC Manager

  • Monitoring of I/E installations on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure installation meets NEC standards & Hess specifications.
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Edge, Word, Excel, Bluebeam & Procore,
  • Maintain contact with I/E subcontractor to keep up with work flow and installation progress.
  • Submit RFIs via Procore for drawing discrepancy resolutions.
  • Walk down I/E installations with Hess inspectors to ensure installation is up to spec.
  • Review instrument/device installations to P&IDs, ISOs, location DWGs & data sheets to ensure proper device is installed at correct location to spec.
  • Create weekly Quality I/E reports of all projects.
  • Create turn-over package upon project completion and submit via Procore.
  • Create redline DWGs via Bluebeam to submit to client with turn-over package.
  • Attend multiple weekly Teams meetings for project updates, needs & coordination.
  • Track & turnover for Hess review all I/E punchlist items via Procore.
  • Coordinate with mechanical department for piping & structual installations to ensure steady flow of I/E installations.

  • Inspection of all I/E installations including but not limited to all grounding, cable tray, conduit, lighting, motors, low & high voltage terminations in the PDC & field, analyzer buildings, 120V-4160V distribution equipment & motors, instrumentation & temporary power.
  • Completion of all I/E Quality folders.
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Edge, Excel, PROCORE & Bluebeam.
  • Tracking & monitoring of construction activities to ensure Quality Dept. runs parallel with construction for maximum efficiency and minimal delay in sale-off.
  • Coordination with Air Products site Rep & Commissioning Team to rectify all I/E restraints & punch items.

ABOUT ME

  • 20+ years of experience. My career started in 2002 as an electrician’s helper and I quickly climbed through the ranks as a journeyman electrician, to foreman, general foreman, superintendent and then into quality. I am also a Safety Certified professional. My experience ranges broadly from refineries, petrochemical plants, automotive manufacturing, pipeline metering & compressor stations, sub-stations/switchyards, tank farms, classified & non-classified area industrial construction.
