- The first was Project RIEL which incorporated professional development for high school biology teachers on how to use culturally responsive teaching for emergent bilinguals This project was funded by the National Science Foundation
- The second and ongoing project is Project Virtue in Education, which addresses the challenges of teaching character education in ELA settings
- Another project investigated student perspectives on the implementation of the Human Dignity Curriculum in two different school settings
- My current research investigates teacher education and the integration of practical wisdom as a way of helping teacher candidates (TCs) to make informed decisions about their practice in teaching multilingual learners
