Work History
Deputy Sheriff
Pinellas County Sherriff's Office
Largo
05.2018 - Current
I have been assigned to numerous day and night shifts on both A and B schedules as a Patrol Deputy.
During my tenure as a patrol deputy, I have worked in squads 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9, demonstrating that I have a great geographical understanding of Pinellas County, and am familiar with the areas of the county.
Serving as a Field Training Officer since June 2024, I have had seven recruits in my car during my tenure with FTO, which resulted in all of them passing their respective phases.
Currently, I am an Assistant Team Leader on the Major Accident Investigation Team. I have been on the team since March of 2023. During this time, I have responded to numerous crashes during off-duty hours as a callout and have assumed numerous crashes as the case agent. I have been assigned more than one case at a time, which demonstrates my ability to manage a case load and keep up on the respective cases, and what needs to be done with said cases.
Currently, I am a member of the Crowd Management Team since December 2023. I have responded to numerous training sessions with the team, and I am able to work effectively with the members of the team during lines and marches.
I have worked extensively in the Rainbow Village Housing area during my time in squad 3, and I have conducted routine curfew checks for members of the HOME unit during their off days. I have also assisted HOME units in capturing juvenile offenders who have probable cause for their arrest.
While assigned to the city of Safety Harbor, I had numerous interactions with a juvenile who was formerly HOME. While working on a stolen vehicle case in the juvenile's neighborhood, I was able to relay information to responding units looking for the stolen vehicle and provided information about the juveniles' known paths of travel. This resulted in the location of the juvenile, and the apprehension of said juvenile.
Lead Valet
ABM Industries
Tampa
08.2015 - 05.2017
Responsible for guiding guests through the area of valet known as 'gold valet.' This area of the valet station welcomed approximately 150 vehicles a day, amongst seven levels of a parking garage.
I was also appointed as valet supervisor and was responsible for ensuring that the valet attendants were performing their duties, along with taking adequate breaks so as not to overheat. Part of my supervisory duties was to ensure all valet attendants were placing the tips they received in a shared tip bowl to be divided up at the end of the workday.
I was also responsible for handling the ABM crash reports that occurred within the garage, lost property reports, and performing a money count at the end of the shift, which was collected for the director in the morning.
