Study system blueprints, specifications, and Study system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine the proper configuration and purpose of the system’s components, such as motors, pumps, fans, switches, ducts, or pipes. Adjustment of the system’s controls to settings and calibration, conduct measurement tests, and discuss system malfunctions with system users to isolate problems. Test and Balance Technicians conduct HVAC test and balance procedures in either new construction and/or remodel-type projects. Collect and tabulate system test data, make field observations and coordinate closely with other construction trades such as electrical, mechanical, temperature control, and design teams. Field testing and analysis of HVAC systems making adjustments, recording the test information and preparing a report for approval by the TBE that is then sent to the project Engineer. Equipment ranges from small roof top units to large air handler units in schools to large multi-tenant office spaces and hospitals. Air test, hydronic, pneumatic, sound and vibration, chiller, pump and boiler testing.

Supervised and directed all aspects of the community from inception to move-in. Responsible for the quality control in the construction process. Set up labor and budget guidelines as well as and contracts with the contractors. Also responsible for the coordination between the contractors and suppliers to meet the timelines for the project. After the move in take care of all warranty request.
