The main duties of this role is to investigate fraudulent claims filed by the customers. The fraudulent claims may include card transactions, ach transactions, and transactions done via zelle or through wire transfer. Essentially the claims filed are due to the customers suspecting unauthorized activity on their accounts. As the investigator we use multiple applications such as Microsoft, 10 Key, Clear, Mastercom, spreadsheet, and our company surveillance system to make our determinations. As the supervisor, I also process chargebacks to recover any losses from merchants, track shortages/outages on foreign ATMS, and create weekly reports to make sure my team is remaining in compliance with Reg E. I am also the point of contact for my team.
